Independence Missouri is located immediately east of Kansas City.  As far as Independence schools are concerned, you just have to remember its “4 and 4″.  There are 4 school districts, and there are 4 public high schools within the city limits.
The 4 school districts are as follows:

Independence
Blue Springs
Fort Osage
Raytown
